Business overview

Most people know this one as PharmEasy. The parent company is API Holdings, incorporated on 31 March 2019, running a digital healthcare business through a stack of subsidiaries that covers technology, pharmaceutical distribution, diagnostics and health services. PharmEasy is the consumer facing part, where you order prescription medicines, OTC products and wellness items and they arrive at your door. Behind it sits a services layer, call centre operations, medical and legal transcription, data processing, warehousing, logistics and database management. The group grew mostly by buying things. Around 26 subsidiaries now, Docon and Thyrocare among them, and Thyrocare is a name plenty of people will recognise from a blood test slip. Pharmacy, diagnostics and teleconsultation under one roof is the shape they are working toward.

Every ratio here is worked out from the reported figures in the Financials tab, and valuation multiples from the indicative price in the header. Nothing is a stored value. A ratio the filings cannot support (a line not reported, or a zero or negative base) is left out or shown as —, never as a misleading number. Balance-sheet ratios use year-end figures.
